Lucas Phillips is a stellar volunteer with a heart of gold. He has numerous service hours through church, student council and FFA, and numerous awards and accolades. Lucas enjoys traveling to impoverished areas to do various outreach projects. He is an excellent model of leadership. He loves spending time with the children, and has assisted in Sunday School classes, served as music leader during VBS and has served in week-long, preteen camps as a junior counselor. He has participated in fundraisers for needy families, toy drives, rodeo events for special needs students, clean-up projects, and has assisted meals on wheels recipients. Lucas will attend Texas State University in San Marcos.
