Katherine Winey is an ever-helpful volunteer with an unselfish heart. Her contagious zeal for God keeps everyone around her enthusiastic. At church, she performs the most menial tasks with joy and a spirit of excellence, cleaning the church and serving in the kitchen, and participates in the Highways and Hedges Ministry traveling to underserved neighborhoods to host outdoor church services and serves on that follow-up team. At Cypress Lakes, Katherine was on the Honor Roll, and participated in the Poetry Club, Speech and Debate Honor Society, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to name a few, and started her own Bible Study. She will attend Prairie View A&M.
