The Social Graces
As a mother and an Emily-Post-Trained Etiquette Instructor, I developed “All Occasion Etiquette” workshops out of a sincere desire to see children, youth and young adults mentored in the social graces that will assist them in becoming more polished and more confident in any social setting. Social graces include manners, etiquette (the specific accepted rules within a culture), deportment (behavior), and appearance.
Benefits of Instruction
This training refines unwanted social behaviors, promotes courtesy, and will enhance the student’s future interactions with others. Students will learn and adopt the accepted code of societal behaviors which translates into improved performance at school, work and other social activities. Correct behavior also assists in making that favorable first impression which is so important for making new acquaintances, interviews, networking, and the like.
