Growing up in church, Celeste Guillory always held tightly to her beliefs, therefore, God was able to use her and her most adverse struggles to glorify His name. She has faithfully served in her church in leading children’s ministries (since the 6th grade), playing cello in the worship band, initiating and leading many Bible studies for the youth group, cleaning up the campus grounds, and participating in local missions. Additionally, she has served the Lord in the community through a downtown Houston homeless ministry, and helping custodians clean her high school campus. While at Atascocita High School, Celeste maintained rank 1 throughout all four years, but instead of using that title as a pedestal of pride, she committed herself to using the talents and gifts that God gave her to help others struggling in their classes. She also served as an Orchestra officer all four years, Officer and Co-captain of her dance studio, and a member of NHS and the national champion Chamber Strings Orchestra. She hopes to continue serving the Lord at UT Austin or A&M College Station, wherever His grace leads her.
